About Coach Laura

Coach Laura is a certified plant-based nutrition and health coach who transformed her own life by embracing a whole food, plant-rich lifestyle. After overcoming chronic health conditions—including arthritis, digestive issues, and stage 3 kidney disease—Laura lost 35 lbs and reclaimed her health. Her journey fueled a deep passion for plant-based nutrition.

Laura lost her father to kidney failure and wholeheartedly believes he could have halted progression of his disease and avoided end-stage renal failure had he received the proper support and dietary education from those whose care he was under. Her dedication to helping others with their dietary lifestyle is in honor of her father who she loved dearly.

Laura earned her Plant-Based Nutrition Coaching certification through Food Revolution Network, learning from top experts like Dr. Joel Furhman, Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Michael Klaper & Brenda Davis, RD. She earned her certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell, PhD's Cornell University's course. Laura is also a PCRM (Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine) Pod Leader and has completed additional training through programs within Doctors for Nutrition, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and Plantrician’s Education Series.

Laura has empowered women to take charge of their health by serving as their private WFPB chef and by guiding them to prepare their own nutritious, plant-based meals. With her personalized coaching, clients have successfully achieved their short and long-term health goals and enjoy a more vibrant, thriving life.

In addition to her dedication to wellness, Laura is an advocate for animals and actively volunteers at a local animal sanctuary. When she’s not cooking up delicious meals made from whole plant foods, you can find her enjoying music, concerts, true-crime series, dancing, and walking. She and her husband of 31+ years, Ken love to travel, having logged 22 times to Kauai & Maui, Hawaii. Together they enjoy spending time with family, friends and their two adopted rescue kitties.
